As an owner of two of the finest mini laptops around (U100 and CT 100) I found it very hard to get information about the possibilities, upgrades and special software and drivers for the Toshiba Libretto.Mainly information about more complex issues like installing Vista on a Libretto U100, replacing the harddisk of a U100 or installing Windows XP on a Libretto 100 CT is hard to found.
These are all very challenging projects, for which very little help can be found at the internet. On librettoworld.com I would like to offer the reader that kind of help, so that every Libretto owner will be able to get the most out of his or her little friend.
Also, on librettoworld.com all useful links about every Libretto model will be available, as well as all websites you can find the latest drivers and software for the different libretto models. Viewers and
(potential) Libretto owners are encouraged to post their comments, tips, tricks and how-to?s in order to have one Libretto portal on the internet.
I am very aware of the fact that the Libretto is end of life and a lot of the information that can be found on the web is outdated. Also, I understand that the Libretto isn’t that hot anymore, because of all the new mini laptops and other small but powerful notebook-like gadgets (like the ASUS EEE or Advance VyeNote) and that there is a risk that much of the effort I am planning to put in this site will be a waste of time, because there’s not really an audience for my work.
But , what the heck! I know for sure that I will enjoy the work very much and I will be happy if I can help one other Libretto owner with this website!
